Brief Description

The Store Keeper is responsible for efficiently managing the storage, distribution, and documentation of inventory for multiple food brands under Kout Food Group. The role ensures accurate stock management, timely replenishment, and compliance with food safety and storage standards, while leading and developing a team to support smooth kitchen and restaurant operations.

Ensure timely and efficient receiving, dispatching, and documentation of goods.

Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.

Job Description

A. Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for multiple franchises.

  • Conduct daily stock counts and cycle counts.

  • Identify slow-moving, expired, or excess stock and take corrective action.

  • Coordinate with procurement and restaurant managers for accurate order placement.

B. Receiving & Dispatch:

  • Supervise the receiving of goods against the PO and invoices.

  • Ensure goods are stored under the correct conditions (dry, chill, frozen).

  • Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices.

  • Dispatch materials to restaurants based on requisitions and schedules.

C. Team Management:

  • Supervise and guide Team Leaders and Store Team Members.

  • Allocate tasks and monitor shift schedules.

  • Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training.

  • Promote a safe and positive working environment.

D. Documentation & System Updates:

  • Maintain accurate stock records in the ERP/system.

  • Ensure timely data entry for receiving, dispatching, and adjustments.

  • Prepare reports on inventory, spoilage, and consumption.

E. Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure store layout and processes comply with food safety and company guidelines.

  • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for hygiene checks and audits.

  • Implement corrective actions based on audit feedback.

Key Tasks

  • Daily monitoring of stock movement

  • Receiving & inspection of deliveries

  • FIFO/FEFO rotation

  • Preparation of dispatch orders

  • Housekeeping and pest control oversight in storage areas

  • Stock reporting & reconciliation

  • Leading team meetings and performance discussions

Educational Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field

  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in store/inventory management, preferably in food & beverage or retail

  • Technical Skills:

    • ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

    • Proficient in MS Excel & reporting tools

  • Certifications (Preferred): Food Safety, Inventory Management
