Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    Assist in managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Team Leadership:
    Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and motivating team members to provide exceptional customer service and adhere to company policies.

  • Customer Service:
    Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by responding to complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

  • Financial Performance:
    Monitor and manage financial aspects, including labor costs, food costs, and operational budgets. Help achieve revenue targets by ensuring efficient service and maximizing sales opportunities.

  • Health & Safety Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. Ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and safe to use.

  • Stock & Inventory Control:
    Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure that the restaurant is properly stocked with food and supplies while minimizing waste.

  • Staff Scheduling:
    Assist in creating and managing employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak times while controlling labor costs.

  • Performance Monitoring:
    Help track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, sales, and employee performance. Provide feedback and coaching to team members for improvement.

  • Promotions & Marketing:
    Assist with local marketing efforts and promotions to drive business and increase customer engagement.

Educational Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the fast food or hospitality industry is preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic understanding of financial management, including cost control and budgeting
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
